My name is Chad Avery.  This is my first year at Lincoln Elementary School; however, I have been in education for 10 years.  I have taught 1st grade, fifth grade and I am currently teaching 4th grade.  A few things my wife, daughter, son, and I like to do are camping, hiking, and kayaking. •             What grade do you teach? I am the Title One Lead teacher for Lincoln Elementary School. I have a team of helpers, and together we work with students from all grades K-5.

•             How long have you taught at Lincoln?  I have been a teacher at Lincoln Elementary for 12 years.
•             What is your favorite subject to teach?  Why?
•             Where did you go to college?  I graduated from the College of Southern Idaho with as Associates degree and went on to earn two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Idaho.
•             Do you have any children?  pets? I have four children, three grandchildren (and one more on the way!), one dog, and three grand-dogs!
•             What are some of your favorite things to do in your spare time? I love to garden and be home working in my yard. I enjoy spending time with my family and my animals. I play music professionally and I really enjoy that too!
•             What is your favorite part of being a teacher at Lincoln? My favorite part about being a teacher at Lincoln Elementary School is seeing the students learn and grow! I also just love seeing the students! I also love seeing my friends at school! All the teachers really are friends also and that makes it fun to me. We are a big Lincoln Lion family!

                                When I have free time I love to go hunting, camping or fishing.  If that is not available I stay warm inside doing puzzles of all sort and iPad games.

I am new to Lincoln and Twin Falls! I graduated from Idaho State University. This is my first year as a classroom teacher, but I have many years of educator experience, from Kindergarten to College and After School in-between. I like watching cooking shows and all sorts of crafting projects. I also enjoy collecting and creating stories with my friends. I love all of the subjects, but two of my most favorite are writing and science. I especially love it when they come together and make amazing stories happen, fiction or true! I’m looking forward to a great year with Lincoln Lion Leaders!

My name is Samantha Fritz, I teach third grade. This is my 5th year teaching, and 2nd year at Lincoln. I love to teach math, it is by far my favorite because I like the satisfaction of solving complex problems. I went to University of Idaho and am currently attending BSU. I love to spend my free time outside doing various activities like hiking and paddle boarding or anything that gets my dog Zeus and I out. My favorite part of teaching at Lincoln is getting to be a part of the family we have built here between the staff and our students.

This is my 3rd year at Lincoln
I like to teach all subjects.  That is why I prefer elementary education because I get to teach it all, unlike middle school and high school where you teach a single subject.
I graduated from Idaho State University
My husband and I have 5 grown children and 10 grandchildren.
We have no pets now as our beloved family dog passed away this summer after 16 years.
My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family.  I also love to travel, read, sew, craft, and do needle work.
My favorite part of being a teacher at Lincoln is seeing students blossom right before my eyes

This is my 29th year and my second year at Lincoln. I graduated from CSI and BSU. My husband and I live in Twin Falls. I love to teach reading because there are so many doors that open once a student can read.
 
I like to read, fish, go camping, visit with family, take photographs, take naps, and watch BSU football! Go Broncos.
 
I attended Lincoln Elementary back in the 1970’s and it feels like coming home to my family. The teachers and staff all really care about the students here. They all belong to each of us.

My name is Addie Mancari and I teach 3rd grade at Lincoln Elementary. This is my third year of teaching, all of which have been at Lincoln. My previous two years I taught 2nd grade. My favorite subjects to teach is Science. I love guiding students to discover new things in the scientific field; I have always identified a bit with Ms. Frizzle J I completed my teaching degree through Idaho State University and I am currently working on my Masters through Boise State University.
I have a wonderful husband, two wonderful daughters, and three crazy dogs. I enjoy anything in the great outdoors such as camping, kayaking, and hiking. My favorite part of being a teacher at Lincoln is being part of this school community. We are strong, caring, and fun!

This is my fourth year in Twin Falls and at Lincoln Elementary. I lived most of my life in California, where I attended and graduated from Occidental College and Fuller Theological Seminary with a Master’s degree in Cross-Cultural Studies and a 2nd M.A. in Theology. I have taught in different classroom settings for 8 years (ELL, private, and adult education), but second grade is definitely my favorite– I love teaching 8 year old minds! When I’m not at school, learning all about the many interesting kids and teachers, I love to read fantasy and picture books, enjoy yummy coffee and tea drinks, and discover beautiful places all over the Northwest.

My name is Benita Remaley, and this is my 2nd year at Lincoln, but, it is my 36th year to teach!  I keep telling myself that I am not really that old!  J 
I graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in 1982, and started teaching in 1983.  I have taught Kindergarten – 3rd grade in the classroom, Title 1 Math and Reading, Music K-3, and Music K-5.  I absolutely love working with kids, and have enjoyed every single year of my career!  Music has been so much fun for me these past few years, and I love sharing my passion for the Arts with our kids!  The students here at Lincoln are very special to me, and I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to teach here!

My name is Rhonda Slagel-Sao and this is my 37th year of teaching, (my 12th year at Lincoln), currently Co-teaching with 3rd – 5th grade classrooms.
I attended college on the coast of Central California, taught in that state and in Oregon, at both public and private schools, and I have had the opportunity to teach in both Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia.
After living overseas, my Cambodian husband and I returned to work and live here in the United States; we have no children, but 2 very fat cats.
I love all of the Humanities (Reading, Language, Social Studies, the Arts), and I enjoy writing, art, and gardening.
Lincoln is special to me because  the staff are such wonderful, fun and caring people, and the students are endearing, creative, and full of so much potential!

Hello! My name is Clint Williams and I have been teaching for 20 years! I have taught in northern Idaho, Pennsylvania, and Montana. This is my first year at Lincoln and I am teaching 5th grade. Twin Falls ROCKS!

My wife, Jaime, teaches 3rd grade at Bickel and our two sons go to school there. Noah is in 5th grade, and Talon is in 3rd.

Most summers you will find me hiking or fishing in a cool trout stream, while in the winter I will be flying down the slopes at a ski resort. My family also likes to spend time traveling to awesome places like Yellowstone and Glacier National Park.
