🗓️ Calendar Reminder: No School for Students

Heads up, TFSD families! There will be no school for students on September 18.
While our students enjoy a day off, our dedicated teachers and staff will be on campus for Data Day. This is a vital time for our educators to collaborate, evaluate recent student data, and adjust instructional practices to ensure we are meeting and supporting the individual needs of every student in our classrooms. 📈💡

We appreciate your support as our staff dives into this important work! 🎒✨

Dear TFSD Families and Staff,

In the wake of the Canyon West shooting on August 1, the City of Twin Falls is leading a community-wide effort to facilitate recovery and support our town.

As part of this initiative, the city has created a survey to better understand which supports and resources are most needed. As a community partner, the Twin Falls School District is sharing this survey and encourages all of our staff and families to take a few moments to complete it.

Survey Link: https://polco.us/s75ucp

We remain committed to partnering with the City of Twin Falls throughout this restorative process to ensure our students, staff, and families receive the care and resources they need.

Thank you for your participation and ongoing support of our community.

Sincerely,

Twin Falls School District Administration

Parents and families, we hope your students had a great 1st day. Here are some tips for drop off and pickup to make the morning and afternoon go smoother:

  • Please drop off students on Castleford St. From there, students are able to enter the building for breakfast using the school entrance by the basketball courts.

  • Please do not park in the staff parking, space is limited and designated for staff only.

  • Please communicate the plan for student pickup to the classroom teacher or office prior to 2:30pm.

  • If you have children who have siblings, they will meet siblings at the bus or at the fence for parent pickup.

Thank you!

Dear TFSD Families,

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we need your help to understand where students will be riding the bus to school. Today, we are officially opening the Bus Service Registration for the 2026-2027 school year.

Why this matters: We design our bus routes every year based on the families who sign up. Even if your child rode the bus last year, you must fill out this form so we can accurately map stops and keep ride times as short as possible.

Deadline to register: July 31

👉 Click Here to Register for Bus Service

If you plan to drive your student, carpool, or if they will walk, you do not need to complete the form. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school community moving efficiently.

Bye, bye birdie! Our staff and students have all flown off to start their summer vacations. Before the year ended we had an extra guest appear a few time. Kai the Hagerman Magpie stopped by and literally said "hi!" She was a rescued, hand-raised magpie who says a few words and barks like a dog (maybe next year she will learn to roar like a lion)! She tends to favor Rock Creek Elementary School but she has shown an interest in Lincoln, too.

We would like to take a moment to thank Theo, the man behind the mask. He kindly came to every Lincoln event this year. The kids gravitated towards him. He was a real natural as the Lincoln Lion. He really brought our mascot to life. Thanks Theo, you did an amazing job!
