Happy Veterans Day!
Our first graders had a special visit from Sergeant Hanson. The students were excited to hear his stories about the Army and ask him questions. Thank you for your service, Sergeant Hanson!
Our second graders made a beautiful tribute to the Pledge of Allegiance (check out the display when you come to Family Night).

Hello Lions,
November the 12th is Family Night. Family Night is a free event. We coordinate with the Children's Museum to bring the learning to you. While you are at this exciting event, stop by Mr. Nickerson's office to get a food box. We still have lots of them left to share. Also, the Lost and Not Found (yet) is overflowing with jackets. Make sure to visit the Lost and Found to see if any of the items belong to your family. We will be donating the coats on November 21 to charity. See you soon!

Our PTO would like to thank everyone who helped to make our first Trick-or-Treat Around the Track a huge success. Thank you staff and families for all of your help. Thank you Miss. T for the fun music. The parade was made extra special by the donations of local businesses. We would like to thank Chobani, Culver's, Papa John's, McDonald's, PSI, Gold's Gym, the Twin Falls Public Library, Starr Corporation, Office Depot, Mindy Payne: Allstate Insurance, and Horrocks for their generosity.

This year our theme is Lincoln Rocks! A lot of the staff had fun dressing-up like the rock stars that we all know that they are. Happy Halloween!

A special thanks to Mr. Shawn for organizing our Spirit Week. Remember, tomorrow is Black and Orange Day. Students can change into school appropriate costumes after lunch. Families are invited to attend the Halloween Parade, "Trick or Treat around the Track." The parade starts at 1:15. All guests will need to have their driver's licenses and check in at the office. It will probably be a long line, please be patient. After you have your visitors' badges grab a seat on the hill outside of the Kindergarten doors (you probably will want to bring a blanket. All of our volunteers will need to be ready by 1:00. Volunteers, please head to the area on the other side of the hillside to be given further directions. Happy Halloween!
