The first graders have been enjoying the ABC Countdown to celebrate the end of the school year. Day G was Game Day. They invited their fourth-grade buddies to play games with them. They all had a great time and were good sports.

Thank you kindergarten teachers for all the effort that you put into making Kinder"garden" Registration so special. We can't wait to get to know all of our new Lions next year.

Please join us today for kindergarten registration from 4-5. We can't wait to meet next year's class. Welcome to kinder"garden!" Kindergarten registration
Miss T, our favorite music teacher, has been very busy. She is extending an invitation to kindergarten, first, and second grade families to attend a concert in recognition of our "Favorite Ladies." Please save the date and see the flyer for times.

Thank you everyone who supported our Spell-a-Thon. Congratulations to our students who brought in the most donations.

Our students and staff wanted to celebrate Mr. Mike our security officer. They decorated his office in coloring pages of...him. He helps to keep us safe. He helps with problem-solving and conflict resolutions. Most importantly, he knows all of our Lions and boy do they adore him. Happy Mr. Mike Day and Happy Birthday. Thanks for all that you do.

Miss McNeil's kindergarteners are all published authors/illustrators! They worked very hard on researching a favorite animal. They wrote about their animal and also illustrated a picture to go with it. We are so proud of them.

Yesterday the kindergarteners started the 1st day of their ABC countdown! Miss McNeil's class celebrated, A for ART! This week they are also working on long i spelled i_e so they drew and painted ice cream sundaes!!

The Spell-a-thon was a huge success. Thank you everyone for supporting our Lions. A special thanks to our principal, Mrs. McKenzie. At the beginning of the fundraiser, she agreed to dye her hair purple if we made over $7,000. As you can see, our profits were to "dye" for. Mrs. McKenzie has eggplant- purple hair now; however, with her beautiful, dark hair color you must look at it in the sunshine to see it. Good thing she radiates sunshine!

The end of the year is rapidly approaching. As you are making those final plans, please consider signing up to volunteer at Lincoln's Field Day. You will need to complete the district's background check and complete Mr. Boone's sign-up form. Please use both the QR codes to sign-up. Field Day
Thanks Everyone!

The Lincoln Staff

Lincoln Elementary School won the Idaho Heroic Championship on Prodigy in the month of February! This means that our school answered the most correct math questions across the state. It also means that our school will be competing in the national competition during May.

Mrs. Miller's kindergarteners were not impressed when she gave them all brown E's for their snack! They thought she was giving them brownies. Luckily, she happened to have those, too. Happy April Fools' Day!

Come to the April PTO Meeting.

The PARAprofessionals at Lincoln add so much sunshine to our days. They help the students and staff all of the time. Tomorrow is PARAproffessionl Appreciation Day. We are calling it, "A Day in PARAdise!" If you have a school appropriate Hawaiian shirt or skirt please wear them to school tomorrow. If you have a lei, you could wear it. Hopefully the sun will come out for this special day.

🎊Congratulations to Cynthia Perkins, Lincoln Elementary’s Classified Employee of the Month!
Named after her Nana, Cynthia strives to live in a way that would make her proud. That dedication shines through in her work as a paraeducator and playground aide, where she loves helping students grow and being a safe, supportive presence for them each day. Cynthia is inspired by growth, both her own and the growth she sees in others, which makes this work especially meaningful to her.❤️🌱
From the principal:
“I am proud to recognize Cynthia Perkins as our building's Classified Employee of the Month. She is incredibly reliable and a natural problem-solver, always stepping in wherever she is needed. More importantly, Cynthia has built meaningful relationships with our students and serves as a steady, caring presence every day. We are truly grateful for the impact she makes at Lincoln.”
💬 Give a shoutout to Cynthia! Comment with a thank-you or a story of how she’s made a difference at Lincoln.

Get ready to rock out the last 9 weeks of the year. Our administrators would like to remind you that school resumes tomorrow - March 30. We can't wait to see all of our Lions.

Mr. Miller, one of our first grade teachers, has been reading a special book aloud to his class. His daughter and AI wrote it. It is about visiting Papa's house. The book is about him and his grandson, who happens to be one of his students! What special memories for Mr. Miller, his family, and his students who all adore him.
