People often approach our staff and ask for ways to help the students. This holiday season it would be so appreciated if you made a gift of unisexual sweat pants . We need sizes 6-12. We have lots of other clothing, we just really need pants that anyone can wear. We will gladly accept gently used pants. We will even wash them! All donations can be dropped off at the office during school hours. Thank you for your help. Happy Holidays!

Hello CRHS, Perrine, Lincoln, Sawtooth, TFHS, Harrison, RSMS, and MVHS Families,

We are currently experiencing a power outage across several of our campuses. Our staff members do have access to cell phones for emergency purposes. We are currently working with Idaho Power to determine the anticipated restoration time for power to our buildings. We will communicate with you as soon as we have this information. At this point, students are being served lunch, and we anticipate being able to continue school this afternoon until the normal dismissal time. As a reminder, during power outages, your calls are forwarded to the district office, where staff members can relay messages to our school as needed. We ask that families use this option only in an emergency to avoid overloading our systems.

Lincoln received a grant that allowed the Learning Leadership Team to travel this fall to Houston and attend "The 15 Day Challenge." The team was trained in building Professional Learning Communities (PLC). This week the learning continued with a visit from Maria Nielsen, the author and trainer of "The 15 Day Challenge." The staff will continue to use their learning to support our Lincoln Lions!

Our kindergarten, little turkeys are disguised, but they want to remind you that Thanksgiving Lunch will be this Thursday (20th). Families will need to enter and exit through the front doors. Happy Veterans Day! Our first graders had a special visit from Sergeant Hanson. The students were excited to hear his stories about the Army and ask him questions. Thank you for your service, Sergeant Hanson! Our second graders made a beautiful tribute to the Pledge of Allegiance (check out the display when you come to Family Night).

Hello Lions,
November the 12th is Family Night. Family Night is a free event. We coordinate with the Children's Museum to bring the learning to you. While you are at this exciting event, stop by Mr. Nickerson's office to get a food box. We still have lots of them left to share. Also, the Lost and Not Found (yet) is overflowing with jackets. Make sure to visit the Lost and Found to see if any of the items belong to your family. We will be donating the coats on November 21 to charity. See you soon!
